| Did you know that you can detect a counterfeit (fake) dollar bill with a magnet? Well add this to your spy jacket to keep the crooks from giving you bad money. It's easy. |
| What you need: * magnet *retractable key fob *buttons *button caps (these you can find in a craft suppy store - they are for covered buttons. |
| You can use the jacket's existing buttons or sew on a different type, depending on your needs. Or you can sew cloth over an item like a compass or magnet, and sew it on an exisiting button so it matches your jacket and no one can tell. You just attach your magnet under the cloth you cover the button with. Or you can get the buttons mentioned above and the key fob and some velcro strips - then Use Velcro strips to atttach a mini-retractable key fob to the inside of the jacket and connect its cord to a button on the Jackets ouside. Whenever you doubt the authenticity of paper money simply pull your button magnet and perfrom the magnetic attraction test. THE TEST: Fold the bill in half and set it up right on a table or counter. Point the button magnet near the edge of the bill but od not touch it. A real bill will move twoard the magnet. Surprise all your friends with this one. = ) |

| Kitty's secret pocket for her camera What you need: A small piece of material that will match the inside of your jacket..Cut it into a T shape big enough to hold your camera. You can cut a small hole for the lens to beable to get light where the lens peeks out of the jacket after you have the pocket size and placement set. How to do it: Fold the piece of cloth so the T top becomes the flap of the pocket. Sew the pocket into the lining of your jacket inside the pocket using small careful stiches. Sew a small piece of velcro to the pocket flap and the other piece to the pocket itself to secure the camera once it is in place. Hopefully, you placed the secret pocket inside your real pocket so you can pretend to stick your hand in your pocket and then click the camera to snap pictures as needed. |
