| FAITH, HOPE AND CHARITY,
by Billie A Williams © 2006 How can a day be perfect even before it has begun? Faith, hope and charity, but the greatest of these is charity or Love. So many things equate to love. The day of completion is love. As love (charity) makes everything right or perfect. As charity is associated with giving, giving from the heart, giving in love, because of love. It all wraps back around to love. In order to be giving you need to be loving. First to yourself, knowing what is in your heart having the desire to be true to that. Follow through with a charitable heart that acts in loving ways. You do not bad mouth yourself with negative self-talk. Keep in mind God ( or your higher power, if you will) “don’t make no junk” as the image of the little child asserting his worth comes to my mind. This brings us to faith. Faith in our self, faith that good will always triumph over evil, faith that in the end, love wins out. So, faith is love. An encompassing love that sees beyond what appears to be. A leap of faith. That is if you jump a net will appear. Not jump in stupidity, but that if you move in faith, in the right direction, with love — all— everything is possible. How can you hope without love? For if you don’t believe there is good, if you search for it, believe in it, work toward it with a heart that’s full of hope, faith, and charity—what you envision, what you conceive and believe is what you will achieve. If you see a world of closure, answers to every need (hope) and prayer, how can you not achieve your ultimate goal, desire, hope or dream. So you see, love is the answer to all the questions. Charity or love is the greatest of all these – FAITH—HOPE—CHARITY/LOVE. How do I know? Because the Bible tells me so – and so too does my heart. According to Wayne Dyer, "... you get what you think about whether you want it or not.... Thoughts are mental energy; they're the currency that you have to attract what you desire. Looking up--seeing--and firmly believeing in what you see. It is in the contemplation of this power that you actually acquire this power" |
